It begins with our choice of raw materials. We ensure that our suppliers conform to strict environmental standards. We have established integrated systems for recycling production waste. In addition, our facilities are run in energy-saving ways as part of our 2002 commitment to a 16% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2012. All packaging material is recycled.
Lifespan
The materials and application processes needed to replace a roof represent a significant amount of energy. A DERBIGUM roof is designed to last a long time: more than 30 years. Less frequent replacements lead to lower energy consumption.
In addition, the innovative DERBIBRITE roof lowers the inside temperature of your building. This reduces the level of air conditioning needed and thus your energy consumption. All this adds up to reductions in CO2 emissions over the roof’s lifespan
