No-flame technique

No flame, no risk

Fire regulations concerning the use of open flame during roofing work are becoming more and more strict. The DERBIGUM no-flame technique allows the membrane, the overlaps and all the details to be sealed without the use of flame or torch, eliminating all possible fire hazard.

When for the field surface DERBIGUM is being DERBIBOND S applied, hot air or DERBISEAL S can be used to seal the DERBIGUM overlaps.

Correct application offers a 30-year roof life expectancy, or better.

This technique is especially recommended during roof maintenance for schools, hospitals and other sites where safety is a high priority. Also industrial buildings, where hazards exclude the use of open flame.
