More than production
Today, DERBIGUM is an undisputed industry leader. With 350 employees, the company is present across Europe, and in the US, Africa and Asia. Yearly, three production sites – two in Belgium and one in the US – turn out over 160 million square feet of DERBIGUM membranes and 3.5 million kg of liquid products.
To maintain its technological leadership, DERBIGUM dedicates substantial resources to R&D. Each production site has its own laboratory for analyzing raw materials and inspecting finished products. We have used these techniques to develop new membranes such as DerbiBrite, cold applied technologies such as Permastic, and Derbisolar for energy generation.
Our engineers have worked to develop new technologies to ease the production and application processes. The latest of these innovations is the ability to recycle modified bitumen.
