Most roofing system manufacturers preach the importance of sustainability, but how many practice what they preach?
We are proud to say that we take a sustainable approach in the production of our products. We demonstrate our dedication through our ISO certification and our recycling efforts.
DERBIGUM is the only roofing manufacturer with documented achievements and certification in both ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004. These designations ensure that we produce high quality products and with minimal negative impact on the environment.
Recycling has always been a priority in our offices and manufacturing facility. We have initiated a program at select installation sites to reclaim modified bitumen material. We have a proprietary bitumen waste processor that allows for the recycling of the tear off and installation scrap from job sites. This unique process allows us to integrate the recycled content back into our products without compromising the quality of our membrane and reduce the amount of waste introduced into the nation's overburdened landfills.
Our philosophy is that sustainability is a combination of sustainable production, sustainable systems and sustainable relationships.
